We created film poster drafts to help visualise what our final product could potentially look like.By completing this exercise it allows us to recognise and follow convetions For example film credits.
By drafting our ideas we have been able to understand as a group what we want our film poster to look like therefore the drafting has been beneficial.

These are examples of horror film magazines that have caught our attention. We like the conventions used in these examples and have used them to develop our own ideas for our Film magazine drafts which are shown below.
OUR FILM MAGAZINE DRAFTS
These are our own film magazine drafts. We have created these based on different film magazines we have seen that have caught our attention. We have therefore used the conventions from Film magazines such as Empire and Scream and applied them to our draft ideas for our own magazine.
Drafting our ideas for our magazine has been beneficial as it has helped us to use our imagination to collectivly understand what we all want our final piece to look like as a group. By creating magazine drafts we now understand what photographs we need to take to create our final product and will make the creating of the magazine cover a quicker and more efficient process.
Drafting has also enabled us to realise what doesnt look as good visually as we imagined. For example the knifes behind the killers head doesn't have the effect we imagined.
